Our Christian Duty & Responsibility

Christians are called to bear witness to the truth and to shine light on lies, deception, evil and tyranny that we see in a world driven by an anti-Christian agenda. 

On Friday 29th November 2024, we at Lighthouse Global Media attended the rally led by Christian Concern outside the Houses of Parliament in relation to the second reading of the Assisted Dying Bill that was passed by MPs in Westminster. 

We were there to ensure the voices of Christians on the frontline of this spiritual war in the UK are being heard and galvanised to unite in the face of evil. Our platform, Lighthouse Global Media, and the recent inception of Walthamstow Lighthouse Media, are evidentially vital to ensure Christians and everyone who genuinely loves the truth, is alert to the greatest issues and challenges we face as humanity. 

We also continued our work in Walthamstow to lay the foundations for building Citizen Watchdogs aiming to hold government, media and corporations accountable to the standards the public expects.

Scripture Calls Christians To Unite

The rally led by Christian Concern in response to the second reading of the Assisted Dying Bill was an opportunity for Christians to bear witness to the truth and reveal God’s glory in the process. This was for those compelled in Christ to care enough to stand together in defence of the needs of vulnerable people, the sanctity of life and ultimately the will of God as the creator and sustainer of life.

We spoke to numerous Christian activists at the event which included Andrea Williams as the CEO of Christian Concern, Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, who was unlawfully arrested for praying outside an abortion clinic and Ruth Rawlins, Head of Communications & Marketing at the Centre of Bio-ethical Reform. A clear message from these individuals is that we need unity, exceptional leadership and a strong, unified Christian voice to be heard, listened to and respected in a world driven by an increasingly overt anti-Christian agenda. Christians Need a Voice In Today’s Anti-Christian World

The fact that this Bill has got to this stage in Parliament is very indicative of the fact that Christians do not currently have a strong enough voice to influence on the matters of life and death. The UK government is effectively playing God by choosing who should live, and who should die..

At the rally we also met a Christian volunteer who was smeared in a recent BBC broadcast about his work to protect the sanctity of life through campaigning against abortion. James is yet another victim of the BBC Savile Syndrome who finds themselves wanting to hold the BBC accountable, but not having the resources to do so. This is why our pioneering work through David vs Goliath is so crucial and vital. The Everyday Person Wants Government & Media To Be Held Accountable

In the afternoon a team spent the time on the streets of Walthamstow and through numerous conversations we heard yet more accounts of why there is a huge need for the creation of Citizen Watchdogs set up to hold governments, media and corporations accountable to genuinely serving the public they were set up to serve. 

We found our signs calling BBC staff to repent was something that stopped members of the public in their tracks because of feeling appalled by the injustices. We heard about the tragic case of how extremely vulnerable children were abused at a local special needs school. Whilst we commend the BBC for exposing this abuse, once again it fails to stamp out abuse in its own culture because of the institutional evil, AKA the BBC Savile Syndrome. 

Even though Walthamstow is an area where many media professionals reside, we found many local residents to be disgusted by the BBC’s abuse of the public’s trust through lies, deception and sexual abuse. Once again we have seen another BBC abuse scandal emerge this week, namely the example of Gregg Wallace who’s stepped away from MasterChef following reports of “historical allegations of misconduct”. We await to hear whether this is a reputational smear or a case that leads to criminal conviction like the 176 counts since Jimmy Savile (148 for child sexual abuse).

From our conversations with the public across the UK, it’s evident that the public is tired of the BBC’s tyrannical abuse of power, but yet the everyday person feels powerless to do anything about the tyrannical abuse of power. 

At Lighthouse we have seen, however, that there is nothing more terrifying to a liar, a slanderer and/or a deceiver than being presented with the truth. It was petrifying for the BBC’s so-called investigative journalist, Catrin Nye, when she was asked in person for a live, real-time interview.

Additionally there was another chance encounter with Stella Creasy following her decision to vote for the Assisted Dying Bill. One of our Associates introduced himself, that he was from Lighthouse Global Media… and she bolted! The irrationally fearful reaction from an MP who boasts about her political experience and achievements is proof once again that she has no ability or willingness to engage in a mature, fact-based conversation. Like Catrin Nye last week, when confronted with the truth, both of these individuals play the victim because they cannot stand on truth. Ms Creasy is evidently more concerned with her appearance and brand on social media as one commenter noted.

We have now endured a hate and smear campaign that’s been going on for almost 4 years. We are feeling the greater meaning, reason and purpose to help ensure that no one ever has to go through what we’ve been through.
