Background
Over the last several years, Lighthouse has sought to respond to provably slanderous claims made about its people and its work online and in the mainstream media.
The recent verdict against three Lighthouse Associates — Kris Deichler, Jatinder Kamra and Sukh Singh — is in the context of ongoing work to present the truth and facts about Lighthouse to a global audience.
Overview of the Case
On 13 January 2026, Judge Susan Holdham at Stratford Magistrates’ Court delivered a guilty verdict against the three men on a charge of harassment without violence, relating to two what they assert are two peaceful visits to Ms Nye’s home.
The men have been clear: they were acting as citizen journalists and Christians, reporting on the response to what they believe was damage caused by the BBC’s programme A Very British Cult and related coverage by the mainstream media.

We pray for wisdom, for discernment, for maturity and the humility that You are the sovereign authority over all creation.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ as our Lord, Saviour, Redeemer and King.

I’m deeply disappointed by this decision and grateful that the appeal will allow for key facts to be properly taken into account. My husband and our friends have been deeply let down by this process so far in my opinion.
Disappointed in this verdict, but will support these brothers in any upcoming appeal.
It’s coming clear that justice isn’t what is made up to be. It’s been a revealing journey and the fight still goes on and truth will win in the end. God Bless you guys.
It’s obviously a very disappointing decision but thankfully there is rightful means for redress through an appeal, which we will certainly pursue.
