Following our protest and prayer vigil outside the BBC Birmingham offices in the Mailbox building last week on 9th August 2024, Lighthouse once again wrote to the BBC’s Director General, Tim Davie who still refuses to acknowledge, let alone take responsibility and make right the wrongdoings of the BBC’s heinous and lying hit-piece pseudo documentary, ‘A Very British Cult‘, a false production that contains over 140+ provable lies. Included in those lies is the fact the BBC lied to protect a child sex abuser connected to those attacking Lighthouse with fabricated and maliciously false claims. Lighthouse Associates have now been protesting and holding prayer vigils outside BBC headquarters in London and/or Birmingham every week since April 2024. We have been and continue to demand a LIVE, in real-time opportunity to present our evidence to the same levels of audience that the BBC have presented A Very British Cult to in order for the public to hear a full and fair disclosure of the facts. Something Mr Davie and the BBC have flat out ignored, despite putting the request directly to Catrin Nye, the show’s “reporter”, herself!

Expect Ongoing Vigils and Protests Until There Is Full Compensation And Reform

Last week we saw yet another example of sick and depraved pathology of another individual affiliated with the BBC has come to light, as reported by yourselves. And yet again it is revealed that the crimes of that individual have been going on for decades, behind the scenes, before finally being revealed!
Just several days ago, Zoologist Adam Britton, who has worked with the BBC, including Sir David Attenborough, pleaded guilty to 56 charges of bestiality and animal cruelty! According to your own BBC ‘reporters’, “much of the detail of Britton’s crimes are too graphic to publish, and so “grotesque” Chief Justice Michael Grant warned the courtroom they could cause “nervous shock””. Is there no end to these cases Mr Davie? Clearly not, as it is an ongoing conveyor belt of one deviant sex offender after the other at the BBC.
It’s reported you have asked Mr Edwards to pay back the BBC the wages you agreed for him to receive after he was arrested and now you are trying to distance yourself as much as possible from him, in order to maintain your pretence of being whiter than white paragons of virtue. It will not wash Mr Davie, the BBC Savile Syndrome is real, as it keeps being so evidently proven and the public are starting to see the truth and reality of the BBC culture of institutional evil more and more. There is so much it can’t help seeping through the ever widening cracks in your ever weakening facade.
Yet if Lighthouse were said to have committed any kind of wrongdoing, no matter how small, the BBC would be going all out to inflate it, twist it, vilify and condemn us as much as they could, in line with their agenda. But that’s the problem Mr Davie, there isn’t anything because we aren’t who you’ve tried to paint us as. So the fact that the Chairperson of the BBC, Mr Samir Shah, has been addressing the press in your stead and not you, Mr Davie, is not only cowardly but an obvious tactic to avoid direct scrutiny and criticism of your leadership, while suppressing the truth. Once again, as is clear from the BBC playbook, you are doing all you can to cover up the crimes of the BBC and the BBC Savile Syndrome by pointing all attention outside of yourselves, rather than looking inward and doing what is necessary to bring about the fundamental change needed.
The BBC Chairperson said that Mr Edwards ”behaved in bad faith” in continuing to take his salary, which is such blatant nonsense and absconding of responsibility. We and the public know very well that it is the BBC that has behaved and continues to behave in bad faith as it continues to lie to and gaslight the public while its list of paedophiles, perverts and sexual predators just gets longer and longer. How can Mr Edwards have brought the BBC into disrepute when it has been in disrepute for so many years now and is increasingly so. How much of Mr Edwards’ returned salary will go to his victims and other victims of the BBC’s paedophilia Mr Davie? Where is the compensation fund for those who have been so brutally damaged by these monsters you continually harbour and protect until you can hide their crimes no longer?
Our Lighthouse’s Associates were once again in Birmingham and London last week, on Friday 9th August, outside Broadcasting House (as you will have seen) and The Mailbox. And we will not stop, however large or small our presence may be on any given week, we will not relent in any way shape or form, indeed, very much the opposite, until you and the BBC are held to account. So, as part of this we are widening and expanding our efforts across the country to other BBC locations.

We are more resolute than ever and will be hosting a series of consistent protests and vigils over the coming months at various BBC venues, ongoing, including Birmingham and London. We will be doing so until you take full responsible action regarding your abomination of a production, A Very British Cult, in line with justice, proper compensation and wholesale reform for all those you have intentionally damaged and abused. We are also speaking to, supporting and raising resources to support the many victims of the BBC, from Jimmy Savile to Huw Edwards and beyond, through our BBC Healing & Compensation Programme. If you will not care for them Mr Davie, we will.
We are extremely busy producing further episodes of our documentary “Exposing The British Broadcasting Cult”, following the highly successful Introduction we published at the end of June on X, YouTube and our website, as you no doubt will have seen. The first full part of this is soon to be released and the time has never been more ready for it. The current social climate in the UK has keenly revealed to many of the forced licence fee paying public, just how little they can trust the government and its propaganda pushing mouthpiece, the BBC. This is not something we are making up or stating to suit us, that is something the BBC would do, but it is being well documented through our ongoing interactions with the British public.
The public are sick and tired of paying to be lied to and manipulated, to be looked down upon and treated with contempt, calling the licence fee payers “the great unwashed”, while they have your agendas and propaganda pushed down their throats. So we WILL NOT STOP OR EVER CEASE in exposing this!
The time is Nye Mr Davie. So aptly called after your fame hungry lying, cheating and maliciously deceitful pseudo-journalist Catrin Nye, the person who made the worst possible provable abomination of lies and fabrication in broadcasting history and then tried to pass it off as a documentary. One that is being picked apart and exposed and used to pull down the BBC’s fake virtuous veil. We will keep you posted, so keep on your toes. I have said it already and we will keep saying it, that this is not going away and we will not stop until the BBC publicly acknowledges and admits its wrongdoing and does all that’s necessary to make that right, through compensation and reform. If there is anything you are learning about Lighthouse, it is how strong and deepening our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is and how resilient and resolute in our commitment and focus we are.

As I read through this article, the names of the BBC’s predators—Stuart Hall, Rolf Harris, Jimmy Savile, Huw Edwards, and Adam Britton—loomed large in my mind. Decades of unchecked abuse have left a trail of devastation. The torment suffered in silence by countless innocents, including children as young as six, is unimaginable. Huw Edwards is just the latest in a long, agonising line of men who wielded their power to shatter lives. These aren’t just stories or headlines; they are the lived nightmares of real people—children, women, men—whose lives will never be the same.
The Janet Smith Review, in all its chilling clarity, confirmed what many of us feared: the BBC has allowed a culture of abuse to fester, unchecked, for far too long. Point 2.106 of that review has haunted me ever since I first read it. A young woman, full of hope and ambition, was destroyed by a man who saw her as nothing more than a pawn in his perverse game. “As with so many aspects of the evidence about BBC culture and practice, there are exceptions to the general trend of the evidence. Victim A8 trained as a camera operator in 1980 and, on completion of the course, was assigned to a particular camera team to complete her training. A more senior colleague subjected her to a campaign of sexual harassment which greatly upset her and shattered her self-confidence. Towards the end of her first six months, the colleague had to write a report on her competence which would determine whether she remained in employment with the BBC. Over a period of time, he made it plain that, unless she would have sex with him, he would write a bad report.”
And this story isn’t unique. The BBC has a long history of ruined lives, crushed dreams, and stolen innocence.
Below is just a short list of BBC’s abusers with the relevant years of abuse that they practised while working for the BBC:
Stuart Hull = 41 years of abuse
Rolf Harris = 59 years of abuse
Jimmy Savile = 43 years of abuse
Huw Edwards = potentially 4 years of abuse
How many more victims must come forward before something is done, Mr Davie? How many more years of abuse will be tolerated before this evil is truly confronted, Mr Davie?
The recent revelations surrounding Adam Britton are yet another dark chapter in the BBC’s ongoing saga of disgrace. How many more times must the public witness the same pattern of denial, distancing, and damage control, Mr Davie? The time for pretence is over. The BBC cannot continue to hide behind a façade of respectability while harbouring monsters within its ranks. We have seen this too many times before. The conveyor belt of deviant behaviour at the BBC continues to churn out new horrors, and the BBC’s response remains the same: deflection, denial, and evasion.
I remember when I watched A Very British Cult for the first time, I was shocked by how the reality of mentorship at Lighthouse was twisted by just a handful of people. I was stunned that one single person, Anthony Church, brought the group sessions to the BBC. I was further shocked by the type of responses I received from the BBC to the complaints I raised and by the fact that no one at the BBC got in touch with me after I offered to be interviewed and provide another point of view on the mentorship I received from Lighthouse. These facts led me to believe that the BBC built this docusoap on preconceived ideas and opinions from people who were resentful and themselves victims of abuse by their own family members with no way of showing a growth mindset.
In a context like this, it is easy to feel betrayed and angry when the truth is distorted in such a way, but we must remember that God’s truth is eternal and unchanging, and it will always prevail. It has taken me five years and agonising pain to understand that true love, joy, and peace come not from the external world but from my unity with God, who is the source of all truth. And we must remember to trust in Him to reveal the truth in His time and to use even these trials to strengthen our faith.
👉Call to action:
It’s easy to feel powerless in the face of such overwhelming darkness. It’s easy to think that one voice, one person, can’t possibly make a difference. But that feeling of helplessness, that’s where the real pain lies. It’s the gnawing doubt that what we do, what we fight for, might never be enough.
But we must fight anyway. Because if we don’t, and if we do not demand change, then we are complicit in the silence that allows this evil to thrive. We bleed so that others might not have to, because the pain of fighting, though immense, is far more bearable than the guilt of doing nothing.
This isn’t just a battle against the BBC. It’s a battle to protect every child in our society. And to me, after years of bearing physical abuse, it is a battle for my soul, and for our souls, too, because every time we look away, every time we ignore the suffering of others, a part of us, a part of me, dies.
In this battle, we must remember that it is not by our strength alone that we fight. God’s truth is a light that no darkness can extinguish, and it is through His power that we find the courage to stand against this evil. The pain of fighting is softened by knowing that we are instruments of His justice, mercy, and compassion, allowing Him to work through us in the deepest work that often comes from surrender to God’s will.
So yes, pray. Pray with all your might. But also act. Stand with us, bleed with us, and let the world see that we will not be silenced. We will not stop until the BBC reforms, not only from child abuse but also from the lies and deceit that perpetuate this cycle of abuse. Because that’s what it takes to make a difference. That’s what it takes to protect the innocent.

Tim Davie has got to be one of the most callous and evil people I have ever seen. He refused to give interviews regarding Huw Edwards, to news organisations which are not the BBC, highlighting yet another example of how truly evil and dark the culture is within the BBC and many of the people that work within it. Because of the chronic levels of cover-up within the BBC, these demons who will abuse and harm any living being, for their gratification, believe they are untouchable. And it is no wonder, their crimes escalate to sheer depravity and continue for many years.
Lighthouse, in Christ, is going to now do the work that ought to have been done for the victims/survivors of the growing number of predators that the BBC enable and in the case of Huw Edwards, pay big, fat cheques to, even when they have been arrested for the most heinous crime! Shame on you Tim Davie. Only God can help you and you need to repent genuinely for what you have allowed to happen under your watch. God help the victims of the BBC and it’s evil.
Shocking but not surprising to hear about Adam Britton, especially with his ties to the BBC. Is there no end to the sexual depravity of those associated with this institution, one that loves to paint itself as whiter than white paragons of virtue? The veneer is wearing off so much now that many of the public are starting to see how rotten the BBC are underneath that facade. I pray that Tim Davie does what is right and God help him if he doesn’t for, as the bible says, there will be a millstone around his neck for what has been done to children under his watch. We will not give up and we aren’t going away.
We will not remain silent while this abuse is going on, the BBC Healing & Compensation programme is so needed and it will be a lifeline for those who have suffered all of these years at the hands of those employed at the BBC and other institutions alike. We’ll continue to expose and educate others on the institutional evil that exists there, starting inside our own four walls, to never have to say no where we ought to say yes, through repentance, contrition, remorse for wrongdoing and making amends through that. So much to say! What I found speaking to the public on the streets of Birmingham yesterday is that people are disgusted by the culture of sexual abuse that is inherent in the BBC. Their eyes double in size and their jaws drop an inch when they hear what’s happened SINCE the abuses by Jimmy Savile were made public over a decade ago.
The everyday, conscientious person on the street is sick and tired of the institutional evil that they are often forced to pay for through the licence fee. The BBC used to market this as the ‘unique way’ that it’s funded.
Naively I couldn’t believe it when I saw that yet another BBC presenter was convicted just a week after the Huw Edwards court hearing – this time we have beastiality as a crime!! What else is going on now that is not reported?!?

A few weeks ago Catrin Nye asked Jatinder Singh what it would take to leave Lighthouse. Well, it would be seeing us put the BBC to rights. Day-by-day I see the extent of the damage that the BBC have caused me and us over the last couple of years.
The BBC and Ofcom are corrupt, there’s no justice through the channels made available to complain to an organisation that presents itself as an impartial bastian for truth, an angel of light and a paragon of virtue.
