CHRISTIANS SPEAK ABOUT ENDURING SUFFERING & PRAYING FOR OUR PERSECUTORS

The Lighthouse Team had an incredibly meaningful time in Walthamstow this Sunday, The Lord’s Day, 17th November, speaking with local Christians about the reality of persecution and evil we are all facing.
Here are some of the highlights we will share in this article:
- An entire congregation prayed for Stella Creasy, MP of Walthamstow, to repent.
- 500 notices of the Walthamstow Lighthouse Media Newsletter were delivered to local residents of Walthamstow.
- Lighthouse Associates met with many Christians who are hungry to talk about the reality of Christian persecution with us.
- Many Christians are openly concerned for the safety of their children through the proliferation of a woke-agenda in society.

CHRISTIANS Are MAKING THEIR VOICES HEARD
Contrary to Ms Stella Creasy’s assertions that Lighthouse and our work are unwelcome in Walthamstow, there is clearly a strong and growing groundswell of engagement in our work and message. Along with this is a great felt need for Christians to come together and protect one another from persecution by the mainstream media, as well as local and national government and otherwise.
- Many Christians know that persecution in today’s culture is a very real possibility. Yet many are unprepared for such events if the media were to attack them and their reputations. This is exactly why we are continuing to build our momentum in Walthamstow, engaging with and educating Christians on how to defend themselves from attacks.
- “They’re all liars!” was the answer from one local Walthamstow resident when asked for their opinion about the government and mainstream media… Views that are wholly contrary to Stella Creasy’s self-inflating, biassed and prejudiced assertions.
- Increasingly, church pastors are needing to support parents and families to guide them on how to protect their children from woke and anti-Christian propaganda, especially within schools. This is a frightening reality for many families who are leaving their children in the hands of woke propaganda promoters for hours on end. This is exactly why building a Groundswell of mutual protection and resources is so vital for Christians and anyone else who cherishes upholding the truth and its sanctity.

A christian vigil FOR walthamstow
If you are a Christian in Walthamstow, or any other area where you are facing persecution and strife, we want to hear from you. We would dearly love to connect with and support you where necessary. You are welcome to invite us to your church to meet with you, your pastor, our fellow brothers and sisters and to discuss how we can mutually support and strengthen one another, in Christ.
On the morning of 29th November 2024, we will be gathering together in London, first in Westminster to rally along with Christian Concern, in a protest against the proposed assisted suicide bill being debated in Parliament.Β
Then, in the afternoon, we will hold our first Christian Vigil in Walthamstow to collectively pray for the town, for Stella Creasy and for the local BBC journalists who have slandered Lighthouse and protected child abusers to do so. And of course we will be praying for their victims. So please get in touch to join us at either, or both gatherings.

Heavenly Father,
You have blessed us with life and liberty through Your Son, Jesus Christ, who conquered death and evil. By His mighty Spirit, we too can face the evil that plagues our world and stand firm.Β
We ask You Lord, to guide us to bind together and strengthen one another. To comfort each other and build each other up, to not grow weary, but to grow strong and courageous, as you command us to do, trusting in You and Your laws.
And we do so in the hope also that through our faith in You, that those who persecute us and hate You, will come to know Your amazing grace one day, to know You as their Lord and Saviour too.
In Christ’s Holy and Perfect Name, we give this prayer.

It was a great experience to meet other Christians, to speak with them in Church and to meet the local residents on the streets. Hearing the pastor of the Church some of us attended pray for Stella Creasy was indeed very moving π
We need to stand and pray together as brothers and sisters in Christ so that we can, as Christ commands, take care of widows and orphans, to take care of the vulnerable π
We stood firm for the truth and ultimately for our Saviour Jesus Christ that day against the likes of MP Stella Creasy and her undiscovered lies and false accusations of us standing there. We have every right to our freedom of expression and assembly. Thank you to everyone who was there that day. Glory and honour to our Lord and Saviour. Jesus Christ. Amen.
It was very encouraging to engage with local Christians in Walthamstow and to be made so welcome in the churches. I appreciate that there are Christians praying for Stella Creasy despite her distinctly anti-Christian views, attitudes and behaviours.
What was evident from the prayer is that she seems to be ignoring the Christian community’s view on assisted suicide and how it violates the sacredness of life that God has given us. Additionally it puts doctors in the position of being ‘legal murderers’ which is in violation of God’s law as the ultimate Judge.

I love what’s happening here, Christians finding one another and fortifying each other in prayer, truth and the Spirit. Praying for Ms Creasy demonstrates the Christian character and Christ Himself, of loving our enemies and hoping they turn to the Lord. There’s far more at stake than a re-election for Stella Creasy, but her eternity. Thank you for the good work happening here.
Stella Creasy believes she is in touch with those she is supposed to be caring for as an MP. When we have spoken with the public, we have found that many of them are NOT being cared for or being heard.
Stella is literally hellbent on securing her reputation as a wokeist, clearly this is where her time is spent mostβ¦not engaging with those under her constituency!
But we are listening and we ask you to join us in prayer for your community and for Stella Creasy, next week. God bless us all and help our enemies ππΎ
Being on the streets of Walthamstow has shown how deeply fellow Christians resonate with the call to stand up against persecution, to seek truth, and to protect the vulnerable. People welcome us and expressed appreciation for our efforts to shine a light on local issues. Each time we go out, weβre met with growing support.
It was also moving to hear how an entire congregation prayed for Stella Creasy. I pray for her too, that she reflects on her actions and repents.
Creating opportunities to come together in the face of persecution is vital. It impacts individuals, families, children, the vulnerable, and even local businesses.

God bless our brothers and sisters in Christ. The fact that an entire congregation prayed for Stella Creasy is very moving. It also shows it is far from just Lighthouse that she chooses to antagonise and go on the attack against. She certainly needs our prayers and so does Walthamstow. I pray for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit here that can inspire and set and example for our whole country and the world.
