Cynical Lie 4 (of several hundred deceptions) that Lighthouse only converted to Christianity during the period that she – Catrin Nye – was engaged in the production of her outrageous Docu-Soap ‘A Very British Cult’. The evidence we have stems from 2016, approaching a decade before the BBC broadcast! We have been ruthlessly mocked and persecuted for both seeing and acting on, and in, the glory of God.

Their hate, modus operandi and the pathology that fuels such hate is the same hate that crucified and institutionally murdered Jesus Christ. Paul Waugh, and us all at Lighthouse Global, call on Nye and her ilk to repent. God help and save your souls. 

3. Deliberate Omissions In Order To Coerce, Manipulate & Deceive The BBC Viewer & Licence Fee-Payer

Alexandra Stein, the self proclaimed “cult expert” endorsed by the BBC, has falsely and arrogantly claimed that Lighthouse Partners “were morphing…” and bringing in more ‘Jesus talk'”…because “the belief system of cults is very fluid. It’s what works at any given time.”

Contrary to Ms Stein’s ludicrous, unfounded, frankly offensive comments and outright hate speech, we did not seek Christ because we thought it was going to be easy! We knew on one side we would face the doubt of the Christians who would question whether we were legitimate or not! We also had the scoffing and criticism of some clients! We were, and still are, willing to pay the price – including being smeared by the BBC and fraudulent self-proclaimed “cult experts.”

FACT 1: PAUL WAUGH AND SENIOR LIGHTHOUSE ASSOCIATE PARTNERS BEGAN DISCUSSING THE REALITY OF GOD IN 2016

Below is a screenshot of Paul Waugh’s communication with the Lighthouse Global senior partners sharing four key arguments for the existence of God (by Dr. William Lane Craig) in 2016 – SEVEN YEARS before the BBC’s docu-soap-opera!

FACT 2: THE BBC’S SOURCES WERE DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN OUR SECULAR STUDY OF GOD AND THEISM WHILE THEY WERE AT LIGHTHOUSE!

This is another crucial fact the BBC deliberately left out! The BBC deliberately manipulated the facts to make it seem as though we only started pursuing the reality of God after their smear campaign! This is a screenshot of one of the many of transcripts they downloaded, which Dawn Ingram stole and gave to the BBC – during Jeffrey’s time as a client at Lighthouse in 2020.

FACT 3: LIGHTHOUSE ASSOCIATES BEGAN COLLECTIVELY RESEARCHING AND LEARNING ABOUT THE REALITY OF GOD, IN 2017

Here are just two examples of our transcripts of meetings from 2017, SIX YEARS before the BBC docu-soap-opera was released!

Here is a text exchange between Lighthouse Global Associates James Mills and Chris Nash (Flash) about James’ continued discovery and personal research into Christ in 2020, THREE YEARS before the BBC decided to lie about and smear Lighthouse Global for our faith in Christ.

FACT 4: LIGHTHOUSE ASSOCIATES WORSHIP AT DIFFERENT CHURCHES, WHICH IS THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT A CONTROLLING CULT WOULD DO!

Lighthouse Global has been accused of being a cult, with Associates supposedly under the authoritarian control of Paul Waugh. Yet Paul himself is under the ministry of John MacArthur. Here is Paul Waugh and Chris Nash meeting John MacArthur and Phil Johnson, head Pastor and elder respectively at Grace Community Church, Sun Valley, California, in 2022. John MacArthur is a world renowned pastor who personally gifted Paul Waugh and Chris Nash signed MacArthur Study Bibles. 

Any self-respecting cult leader would surely want everyone to worship them, and not submit to any other leader?!

Below are several Lighthouse Associate Partners New Hope Baptist Church (Jai Singh’s church) on Christmas Day, 2022. And even for sharing this photo on social media, they were trolled by Jon Breen, a known criminal (whom has aided the BBC’s sources in spreading lies about Lighthouse Global).

FACT 5: WE HAVE BEEN PERSECUTED, HATED AND MOCKED ONLINE AND IN THE PRESS FOR OUR FAITH IN CHRIST! 

The BBC claims that there were Reddit forums populated by former clients to merely “question” our conduct at Lighthouse Global. The reality is these were cesspit breeding grounds for hate, vitriol and mocking attacks on our characters – and our faith. These are just a couple of MANY posts about us. (There is some strong cursive language in these posts).

FACT 5: WE DEVELOPED THE CHRISTIAN RESPONSE FORUM TO EQUIP CHRISTIANS TO FACE THE GREATEST PROBLEMS AND BARRIERS IN LIFE – INCLUDING THE TYRANNY OF MAINSTREAM MEDIA

Regardless of your personal beliefs and worldview, and regardless of what you believe about us at Lighthouse Global. This command from Christ himself, to Seek First His Kingdom, is one of the most important we ought to obey and teach our precious children. 5. Final Comments

Our faith and growing belief in Christ was a natural result of our dedication to truth and reality – especially where and when it did not suit us, but ultimately our faith in Christ is a result of His mercy and His grace alone, not our efforts.

We are deeply blessed, and increasingly grateful for our Lord’s work at Lighthouse Global, to bestow upon us His grace, guidance and leadership. The BBC have tried to smear us, defame us and paint us out to be a ‘sinister’ cult who have reactively rebranded as Christians.

We know we are sinners, but we are certainly not criminals. In fact, by God’s standards, we have been and done far worse in His eyes than what the BBC have portrayed. If they only had taken the time to truly investigate us we would have confessed and shared our sins as a means to help inspire others to come to faith and to repent. Where we have sinned and do sin, as part of a Christian life, we earnestly repent, seek our Lord’s forgiveness and mercy, daily. 

We want the media to tell the truth about our sin, not lie and make up false stories to compete with the sensationalism of the trashy tabloids and subscription services online… this is why, through this experience, we are launching Lighthouse Global Media and Atonement International, to set a new standard of media that has integrity (i.e. looking inside ourselves as well as the world around us) and with reformation and regeneration at the heart of it (hence Atonement International).

God’s grace and mercy to us all. This ungodly world thrives on bloodlust, in a modern media that has become the modern day Roman Colosseum, where its victims are thrown to the lions and millions bay for their blood and punishment. Our Lord teaches us, shows us and commands us to love one another, to forgive and seek to repent, earnestly, wherever we have done wrong. We pray for these professional predatory trolls in the media, as well as our attackers and haters. 

We pray that individuals like Catrin Nye and Alexandra Stein can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to be redeemed and sanctified from their sins and to heal whatever pain (which only Christ can) they are trying to outrun and project onto others.
