From Breaking Point to Breakthrough: A Scandal Unfolds & Justice Will Not Be Denied
Since April 2023, Lighthouse Associates have sought the opportunity to have a full and comprehensive right to reply to all claims made in the provably slanderous BBC hit piece A Very British Cult. This request has been pursued peacefully, legally and lawfully.
Yet through this reasonable response, three Lighthouse Associates have found themselves arrested and charged with harassment without violence. On Monday 14th July 2025, the trial relating to Kristofer Deichler, Sukhraj Singh and Jatinder Kamra resumed after an adjournment at the first day of the trial on Thursday 3rd July 2025. This article presents the latest developments which show how years of BBC-led persecution have taken their toll and the resulting human cost that comes from standing against a corrupt media system.

Hearing Postponed as Our Brothers Reach Breaking Point
The new hearing for our brothers Kris Deichler, Sukh Singh, and Jatinder Kamra took place on Monday (14th July 2025), but the trial was unable to proceed. All three were officially signed off as medically unfit to attend court. The ongoing attacks—against them personally and Lighthouse as a whole—have borne an unbearable weight. Each of them has reached breaking point under the weight of the coordinated murderous attacks against us over the past four years.
A Relentless Onslaught of Smears & Persecution
The first adjournment moved the hearing from 3rd July to 14th July 2025 —an unreasonably short gap that compounded their distress. The pressure of such a rapid turnaround on the back of years of unrelenting attacks and attempts to protect themselves left them suffering profoundly and requiring further psychiatric assessment.
This is not the first time they’ve been dragged to court through the often anonymous and insidious weaponisation through tyrannous technicalities, aka ‘tricknicalities’.
For over four years, these three men have carried a large amount of the burden of the coordinated murderous smear campaign against Lighthouse: from malicious falsehoods spread on Reddit, to smears by the Daily Mail, to baseless investigations by the Insolvency Service triggered by anonymous predatory trolls, to targeted defamation by the BBC, and now the outrageous threat of being branded criminals for knocking—respectfully as citizen journalists with peaceful intent—on the door of a BBC journalist with a gift of a Bible in hand.
They have endured threats of cyberattacks, death threats, and sustained harassment from false accusers and a media machine that still seems intent on destroying us. This has taken its toll.
THe Human Cost of Institutional Abuse
Paul Waugh, our CEO, has suffered numerous major health issues including being diagnosed with PTSD by his psychologist as a result of the murderous attacks by Catrin Nye and her BBC cohort. Senior members at Lighthouse have also been signed off with extreme anxiety and PTSD. Many other Associates have experienced significant complications with their physical and mental health including some even attempting suicide because of the unrelenting attacks, which have been documented with health professionals.
The BBC will have you believe that they care about you, the forced licence fee payer, BUT.. if they believe that they can create a clickbait, hearsay, ‘he said she said’, entertainment hit piece designed to destroy you and everything you have worked for your whole life, they will.

God’s Timing, Not Theirs
But God has His ways. He brings mercy in the most unexpected of moments. The hearing has now been delayed until October 2025—giving our brothers a window to recover, access much needed support, and be in a stronger position to defend themselves. This is a matter of basic justice, protected under Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights: the right to a fair trial.
If the BBC thought they could rush through this process, try to slap a conviction on our brothers, and move on—they were mistaken. Everything unfolds on God’s timetable, not theirs. It did not happen on Monday, and it will not happen until God ordains it. Everything we’ve endured has been part of His divine purpose—to expose the injustice, cruelty, and corruption of the kingdom of darkness and its puppets in the BBC and the State.
Our brothers, as they’ve stated at previous hearings and online, want their opportunity to share the truth. As citizen intervention journalists, standing up to one of the most powerful media institutions in the UK—the BBC—is no small feat. But this is more than a story of grassroots media challenging the establishment. This is David vs Goliath. And through it, the supposed greatness of these institutions is being exposed for what it truly is: corrupt, hollow, and actively working against the very public they claim to serve.

The Trap They Set For Us Has Swallowed Them Whole
Whatever the BBC is scrambling to do now, it’s not to protect the predatory trolls (Reddites) who started this attack on Lighthouse on Reddit back in February 2021—they don’t care about them. This is about saving themselves. They dug a pit for us and fell straight into it. And now, in trying to claw their way out, they’re only digging deeper. They’ve caused real damage—not just through the malicious falsehoods they aired, but by defending and enabling those who’ve targeted and harmed us.
Let’s be clear: Jatinder, Sukh and Kris have been medically signed off because of what the BBC did and continue to do. The BBC, the Reddites, the system that enabled the lies—their intent is murderous.
BUT NOW.. as the damage to us is laid bare for the courts and all to see, the fingers while seemingly pointing at the accused are now rightly pointing at the source of this malice. They’re not signed off because we gave up—they’re off because we gave everything to fight these tyrants and are broken. Even viewers of A Very British Cult have said it: Lighthouse doesn’t quit.
So now, as they try to come at us through courts and agencies, they won’t admit the real story. But the truth is that they will now be forced to by the courts, they’re the reason.
They broke the very people they tried to frame. And that’s a reality they can’t spin. It’s come full circle—and it’s time the public sees it.
A Sinister Plot Uncovered
While we take this necessary time to heal and prepare, let it be clear: our momentum has not slowed. If anything, it has sharpened. As citizen journalists and truth-seekers, we’ve uncovered an alleged chilling and illegal plot by the BBC to be part of a cyberattack against us and bribe third parties to hand over information they hoped would incriminate us.
While this is nothing new to the BBC, they are desperate tactics by a collapsing institution. And we are now exposing them for exactly what they are. Keep an eye out for our open letter to Tim Davie containing the BBC’s criminal underhandedness which we will be sharing shortly.

We come to You in reverence and submission to You as the ultimate authority. We trust in You and Your justice. Through this trial we pray for Your Will to be done and that Your glory will be revealed.
We pray for those who have sought to attack and destroy us at Lighthouse for the sake of our efforts to know and understand You, to obey and live Your commandments despite the recognition that we are all sinners and fall short of the mark every single day because of our imperfection.
We pray for our enemies as You command, praying for them to repent as those who seek their own kingdom and their reprobation rather than Your Kingdom and Your Righteousness.
We give thanks for Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, for His example as a perfect, sinless man who suffered immense persecution and was crucified for the atonement of our sins. We pray that those who persecute us come to know You and become inspiring testimonies for You and Your grace.
We pray that the Body of Christ will unite and fortify each other, that iron will sharpen iron in the process. We continue to pray for justice, for compensation and reform that will need to a fair, just and peaceful outcome achieved through peaceful means.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ as our Lord, Saviour, Redeemer and King.

The stain it has put in them, I’m grateful that the court hearing has been adjourned until October. The BBC have a lot to answer for, not just to us here in Lighthouse, but to the public because of the lies they tell them every day and force them to pay a licence fee to boot.

First and foremost, I want to wish all our brothers, especially Kris, Sukh, and Jatinder, a full and swift recovery following the BBC’s attacks, including their shocking arrests.
The events of recent years, including this court case, have made it painfully clear how little institutions like the BBC truly care about individual wellbeing. Their priority is preserving their reputation, regardless of the human cost. They don’t are about the damage done to individuals and their families.
In pursuit of their own agendas, whether for power, influence, or career gain, organisations like the BBC manipulate and as done with their documythary “A Very British Cult”, even publish outright falsehoods.
Now more than ever, we must come together as good-hearted people and stand against this legacy-media tyranny. A class action against the BBC feels absolutely necessary. Enough is enough! After years of ongoing abuse, it’s time to hold the BBC fully accountable for their actions.

The past few years have been incredibly challenging, with relentless attacks from the BBC and their cohorts. Despite our limited resources, we’ve faced sustained efforts whilst the BBC have tried to discredit and dismantle us—but they have taken a step too far and have broken us just as they have intended—but as this article makes clear, this is not the end. By God’s grace, the hearing was adjourned, giving our brothers time to recover and prepare for the next trial.
