Yesterday, Friday 29th November, Lighthouse Global Media was on the ground in Westminster to cover the Christian Concern led rally against the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. The bill, which has now passed its second reading, moves forward in Parliament as a potential step toward legalizing assisted suicide for terminally ill adults.

We spent the day speaking to Christians, non-Christians, and activists, many of whom shared heartfelt concerns about what such a law would mean for the most vulnerable in our society. People with disabilities were particularly vocal, emphasizing that this bill perpetuates a troubling message: that life with pain or disability is less valuable and worth ending. Their call was clear—society must focus on assisting people to live, not assisting them to die.

This day reminded us of the critical role citizen journalism plays in amplifying voices that challenge cultural and legislative shifts away from Christ-centered values, as well as God’s will and ultimate authority. With mainstream narratives often downplaying dissenting perspectives, the need for a groundswell of Christian voices is greater than ever. Standing together in faith and truth, we can confront tyranny with courage and proclaim the sanctity of life. Yesterday’s events were a sobering reminder of this mission and a testament to the strength found in bearing witness to the truth of Christ.

The British government is preparing to vote on a bill to legalise assisted suicide, a grave concern for Christians and anyone who values the sanctity of life. From a biblical perspective, life is God-given and sacred, and we are called to care for the vulnerable, not end their lives prematurely.

This bill represents a dangerous precedent that devalues the lives of the elderly, disabled, and terminally ill. Legalised euthanasia often leads to abuse, with vulnerable individuals feeling pressured to end their lives to avoid being a “burden”. Evidence from countries where such laws exist shows a slippery slope toward normalising euthanasia for non-terminal conditions, even mental health struggles.

As Christians, we must speak up against this bill. Psalm 82:3 commands us to “defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.” We encourage everyone to contact their MP, pray for wisdom among lawmakers, and advocate for a society that supports life through compassionate care, not assisted death. Let us be the voice for the voiceless and uphold the dignity of every human life.

Lighthouse citizen journalists will be in Westminster today speaking to those Christians who are rallying and speaking up about the bill. They will also be in Walthamstow later in the day, as part of Christian Vigil International, holding a prayer vigil for local Labour MP for Walthamstow, Stella Creasy, who has harassed and persecuted both Lighthouse and another Christian organisation; The Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform. Ms Creasy has previously voted in favour of assisted suicide and is expected to do so again. 

ThursDAY 28th NovemBER, 2024

Paul Waugh, our CEO and a repentant Christian who has faced relentless persecution, is currently battling illness. The stress of ongoing attacks against him and Lighthouse Global has taken a significant toll, and he is now fighting an infection that has left him very unwell.

Paul’s unwavering commitment to his growth, faith and mission has inspired so many and many of us have been deeply impacted by his faithful example and his perseverance through immense challenges. In his season of recovery, we will be gathering and sharing prayers and messages of encouragement from a few of those whose lives Paul has touched. These messages will serve as a tangible reminder of the community standing with him and lifting him up in prayer.

The BBC has aired a programme titled Young, British and Anti-Abortion, unfairly smearing pro-life advocates, including the Christian volunteers at the Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform (CBER). This is yet another example of a Christian organization being maligned for standing up for biblical truth and the sanctity of life.

CBER has long been at the forefront of peaceful, prayerful activism, defending the unborn and exposing the horrors of abortion. They were also targeted by MP Stella Creasy for their Walthamstow protests—an ordeal many of us at Lighthouse Global can deeply resonate with. It seems clear that Christians who take a stand against the cultural tide are increasingly vilified by the media and political establishment.

We stand in solidarity with CBER and commend their courage. As the attacks on Christian values grow louder, we must remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:10: “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Please pray for CBER, their volunteers, and all who face such persecution. Let us also continue our own efforts to shine a light in the darkness, speaking truth with love.

Today’s revelations in the Guardian about the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) highlight a deeply concerning issue: when the very watchdogs meant to safeguard the public are incompetent, toxic, and lacking integrity, no one is truly safe.

The findings from the all-party parliamentary group’s report expose an organisation that is failing to protect consumers from bad actors in the financial sector. Worse still, its hierarchical and bullying culture suggests it lacks the accountability and fairness required to do its job properly.

This failure harms everyone. Fraudsters and exploitative companies operate unchecked, emboldened by weak oversight, while good organisations and individuals—like Lighthouse Global, which faced a falsely triggered investigation—are left vulnerable to unjust treatment. If the regulators themselves cannot be trusted to act with integrity, how can anyone have confidence in the system?

This is why we believe in the need for bold solutions. We are researching public opinion on the creation of a Citizen’s Watchdog—a transparent, citizen-led body to monitor and hold to account government agencies, corporations, and other powerful entities. It’s time for a watchdog that works for the people and is run by the people. With your input, we can build a system that prioritises justice, fairness, and trust for all.

MOnDAY 25th NovemBER, 2024

A government petition started on 20th November, with over 2 million signatories, in record time, has been ignored by Prime Minister Keir Starmer in an interview on ITV, claiming that most of the signatories are fake and claiming “that’s not how it works”.

Mr Starmer went on to claim that a number of the signatories were fraudulent and appeared to be from foreign countries, however a spokesperson for the House of Commons ensured the verification systems for the site were ‘robust’. What is interesting and worrying to note is Mr Starmer’s response to this petition. Where is the humility, the acknowledgement of the significance of this and any sense of empathy or even contrition? 

The Prime Minister instead displays a very BBC-entitled attitude towards being called out very publicly for his failures so early on in his tenure as Prime Minister, which has left many people very disappointed and angry if not incensed following his campaign promises. The BBC and the Prime Minister appear to have an answer for every crisis and every situation other than taking responsibility, such is their hubris.

We have also observed a reluctance to accept responsibility for failures within another government entity—the UK Insolvency Service. This government body, at the tax payer’s expense, has a history of corrupt and biased practices, often targeting companies with fewer resources than the government, which ultimately leads to these companies being bullied by the Insolvency Service.

Although the Insolvency Service have been held accountable for their wrongdoing, like the Prime Minister, it seems to be easier for those committing wrongs against the good and will of the public to stick their fingers in their ears and dismiss it. Yesteday’s encounter with BBC journalist Catrin Nye highlights a troubling pattern of hypocrisy and entitlement seen many times amongst those working at the BBC. Despite her public claims of journalistic integrity, Ms Nye has actively promoted slanderous content about Lighthouse, while persistently evading any meaningful dialogue or accountability.

On social media, Ms Nye recently celebrated a trip to Sweden to further promote A Very British Cult, extending false narratives about Lighthouse to international audiences. Yet, she consistently ignores our repeated, reasonable requests for a live, unedited platform to address her claims.

This double standard is further underscored by her ambush tactics. In July 2024, Ms Nye and a BBC production team confronted Lighthouse Associates Jatinder Singh and Daniel Schmitz outside BBC HQ during their peaceful protest against the BBC’s institutional abuse. Using an aggressive approach, Ms Nye snuck up from behind and cornered them for answers but refused to engage with their valid questions. Contrast this with Lighthouse’s peaceful approach—two individuals presenting a Bible and a letter—and her dramatic portrayal of victimhood rings hollow.

Adding to the inconsistency, Ms Nye and her colleagues traveled to South Africa at license-payer expense to dig for defamatory claims against Paul Waugh, ignoring the opportunity for constructive discussion. Astonishingly, Ms Nye, who has boasted about being trained to handle life-threatening situations, now claims she felt threatened by a courteous approach from Lighthouse Christians.

These contradictions reveal a deeper issue of entitlement and avoidance, as mainstream media figures wield their power without accountability. Lighthouse remains committed to exposing the truth and advocating for fair, open dialogue. Stay tuned for more updates and join us in demanding media transparency.

Lighthouse Associates came face-to-face with the predatory journalist and professional deceiver Catrin Nye again today as they gathered in her home town whilst on a mission to conduct important research and interviews with local Christians and members of the public. What transpired from the resulting interaction was an incredibly embarrassing display (caught on film) from Ms Nye that only further reveals her and the BBC’s immaturity, refusal to take responsibility, overt deceitfulness and pathetic attempts to act the victim when confronted with the truth and accountability.

Lighthouse’s objective for the day was to seek the public’s opinion and feedback about the BBC’s paedophilia, Catrin Nye’s heinous slander of us and the recent outrageous harassment from a local MP, Stella Creasy, however, while meeting over coffee Ms Nye appeared across a public space filming or photographing them with her phone.

Given her attention and using their initiative, they decided an unplanned approach to challenge her face-to-face about the BBC’s constant refusal to grant Lighthouse a LIVE, real-time interview. It was also an opportunity to present her with the Bible and personal appeal letter by Jatinder Singh we had tried to give to her back in July. Lighthouse Associates James Mills and Melissa Deichler approached Ms Nye only to be confronted by an insulting and clearly contrived display of fake tears pretending to feel scared and threatened despite being surrounded by members of the public and a large male friend of hers.

Is there no end to the lengths the BBC will go to in order to avoid answering for their actions and taking responsibility!? The longer they draw this out the worse it gets for them and sadly this will only reflect particularly badly on Ms Nye the more time goes by and her true character comes to the fore. While she’s bound to draw some sympathy from staunch woke BBC supporters and the less discerning of her fakery, when put in the full context of her consistent cowardice to face the truth and evidence, combined with her persistent underhanded and pernicious tactics to try and destroy Lighthouse’s lives and reputations, it will only be more damning for her and the paedophile protecting BBC.

Let’s not forget that in April 2023, when Catrin Nye ambushed CEO Paul Waugh on the street, she smugly asked him to “send her the facts”… however, when the facts don’t suit her and reveal how badly she has lied, she will only lie more in order to avoid facing them.

Farmers gathered in Westminster this Tuesday to protest the new inheritance tax rules that threaten to disproportionately impact those who grow the nation’s food. The demonstration shone a spotlight on mounting challenges faced by British agriculture, but it also stirred controversy as media coverage, particularly from the BBC, seemed to divert focus from these pressing issues. Instead, their attention centred on ex-BBC TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson, whose recent advocacy for farmers has drawn widespread praise but also criticism.

Clarkson, most recently known for his Amazon show Clarkson’s Farm, has become an unexpected champion of British farmers, bringing much-needed awareness to their struggles. His presence at the protest was significant, but an interview with the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire appeared to question his motives, cynically focusing on his personal wealth and tax history, rather than the far more important concerns raised by farmers. While it’s true Mr Clarkson initially purchased a farm partly for tax reasons, his show has demonstrated a growing respect for the farming community, earning him recognition from many farmers as one of their most vocal advocates in recent years.

The BBC’s singular focus in this critique reflects their typical modus operandi and agenda driven journalism, ignoring the broader and more urgent issue of a growing trend across Europe, where governments are imposing increasingly restrictive measures on agriculture. Last year, Dutch farmers staged large-scale protests against policies they claimed jeopardised their livelihoods, with commentators like Eva Vlaardingerbroek warning these measures are more about consolidating control over food systems than sustainability. The principle is simple: control the food, control the people. Something the BBC ought to be at least been expressing concern over and bringing to light for debate.

As Christians, we are called to stand for truth and justice. Farmers, who labor to feed the nation, deserve support—not policies that undermine their work. And certainly not national broadcasters that act as the propaganda wing for the government rather than truly acting in the public interest. The ongoing protests should prompt us all to question the motives behind these reforms, as well as how they are covered by broadcasters like the BBC who ought to be giving a voice to those who provide our daily bread. How do we love our enemies without fighting evil with evil? This is the challenge Christ calls us to, and it’s one we’ve faced directly at Lighthouse. Through our latest article, we share how our team has stood for truth and justice amidst attacks, focusing on the actions of Walthamstow MP Stella Creasy and the abuse of authority in media and governance.

From the BBC’s slanderous campaign against us to Ms Creasy’s public harassment, we’ve witnessed the manipulation of power to silence truth. Yet, we’ve chosen to respond not with retaliation but with Christ’s loving standard of peace, prayer, and unwavering faith. Even when Ms Creasy entered the same coffee shop as our team, they didn’t confront her. Instead, they continued their mission to defend the vulnerable and expose injustice.

This journey has taught us the importance of objective justice rooted in God’s truth. It’s also inspired new initiatives, like Walthamstow Lighthouse Media, to empower local Christians to stand for truth.

On the 16th November 2024, the BBC released an article on Child Sexual Abuse within the Church of England and other known organisations. In the article the BBC makes a very rare but also highly inadequate mention of itself! 

As we have reported in previous updates, the BBC are quick to report on other organisations that have been investigated for child sexual abuse, but when it comes to reports within their own organisation, they remain silent. However, on this occasion, they have gone as far as to make a mention of known child sexual abuser, Jimmy Savile, who passed away before he could be held accountable for his vicious crimes. Even though this is the BBC “mentioning” its own history, it falls far short of what is required and totally fails to capture the magnitude of Savile’s abuse as well as other child abusers from within the BBC over the decades – ironically in an article about institutions failing to protect children from abuse!  

The BBC has a long dark history of sweeping things, especially it’s long list of child abusers under the rug. Former Sex Pistol member, Johnny Rotten knew about Jimmy Savile as far back as 1978 and tried to bring it to people’s awareness then, but instead he found himself banned from BBC radio and Top of the Pops. This is how the BBC handles allegations when it relates to them and/or their employees. The case of Huw Edwards is a clear example of this. When the allegations came out against him he was suspended on full pay and after his conviction, BBC Director General, Tim Davie said that the BBC were “let down” By Huw Edwards. Mr Davie and the BBC acted again as if this was an isolated case, rather than acknowledging the long-term institutional child abuse within the BBC. Something they have no hesitation bringing up and focusing on when it comes to any other institution, like they are doing now with the Church of England.

Once again, the BBC reveal they are completely without integrity and lose any credibility they might have had through their tactics to smear others (like ourselves at Lighthouse), while actually having the dirty hands themselves. They are master gaslighters and this is why we formed “David vs Goliath” to give those they are silencing a chance to be heard and to achieve appropriate justice and compensation where required.

Anti-Christian hate crimes in Europe skyrocketed by 226 per cent in 2023, according to a new report. The need to stand together has never been more urgent!

An article in Premier Christian News wrote: “A review from the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe (OIDAC Europe) documented 2,444 hate crimes targeting Christians in 35 European countries, up from 749 incidents in 2022.”

The review included discrimination from harassment to physical violence, threats, arson and the desecration of churches. An anecdote shared in the article was a recent convert who was stabbed repeatedly in October 2023 by his Muslim flatmate for “apostasy”. Why is it that every kind of discrimination and persecution based on someone’s religion is considered unacceptable in the mainstream, but the second that Christians are the target, the attitude shifts?

We know why – the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ makes it the most hated and despised religion. Being hated because they hated Christ first is part of what we ought to expect as Christians.

MonDAY 18th NovemBER, 2024

As reported on Sunday, Lighthouse Associates spent their Lord’s Day in Walthamstow, attending local churches and speaking with our brothers and sisters in Christ about the reality of persecution and evil we are all facing...where one congregation in particular prayed together for their local MP, Stella Creasy, to know Christ! 

Ms Creasy has been especially belligerent towards Lighthouse’s efforts in Walthamstow as a means of winning favour with her contacts at the BBC, taking to her social media to join in the baseless and fabricated slander against us. She first introduced herself in to us in person in September, by harassing one of our Associates, Tom, chasing him down the street, and filming herself shouting at him, whilst accusing HIM of harassing HER!..  Even though he was walking away from her and wanted nothing to do with her.

Stella’s message to her social media followers was and has continued to be that Lighthouse are NOT wanted in Walthamstow, yet that has not been our experience first hand. Many Christians know persecution in today’s culture is very real and they warmly welcomed Lighthouse into their congregations this past weekend. Some we spoke to have had their own experiences with Ms Creasy and even prayed for her at the end of their service.

Many local residents have also been very welcoming and open to our conversations with them, sharing how much they agree with and support our efforts to hold the BBC accountable. One resident in particular this weekend, when asked for their opinion about the government and mainstream media, simply said, “They’re all liars!”.

Once again those attacking Lighthouse are on the wrong side of truth and reality and have been exposed once more for spreading lies and wild falsehoods.

There is much work we will be doing in Walthamstow in upholding the truth over the coming months, as we build a base of support in the court of public opinion and grow our global Groundswell out from there. What was a base for those who have tried to destroy us will become a base for ensuring their lies are fully exposed. Stay tuned for more! 

SUNDAY 17th NovemBER, 2024

This Lord’s Day was spent attending numerous churches in Walthamstow, sharing with them the importance of our Christian prayer vigils and protests in the area. It was a joy to come together with Christians from all walks of life in the borough, worship and study God’s word together.

We were moved and glad that we could fellowship with Christians who had already become aware of our demonstrations in the area, most notably those who had become aware of MP Stella Creasy harassing yet another group of Christians in her constituency.

It was also a great opportunity to invite local Christians to join us at a prayer vigil planned for November 29th, both in Westminster and Walthamstow, on the day that MPs (including Stella Creasy) will be voting a new Assisted Suicide Bill.

If passed, the Assisted Suicide Bill will begin a slippery slope of institutional suicide and murder that have gotten out of hand in countries like Canada (which has seen those with complex needs but otherwise healthy people in their 20s be medically assisted in dying simply due to depression).

In our open letter to Waltham Forest Council, we, at Lighthouse Global, are calling for the protection of our rights to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression in Walthamstow. Specifically, we are requesting support under Articles 10 and 11 of the Human Rights Act 1998, which guarantees freedom of speech and protest.

Our primary concern is the harassment we’ve faced from local MP Stella Creasy, whose behaviour—both in person and on social media—has made it necessary for us to have police supervision during our lawful presence in the area. We were disheartened by the Council’s response to our complaints, which came through an anonymous ‘no reply’ email, and we are asking for transparency in how they handle such concerns.

Our mission is to raise public awareness about institutional injustice and defamation, connect with local residents, and work alongside Christians who are concerned about the safety of children. We are also critical of Creasy’s attempts to label our peaceful protests as “harassment” or “hate speech”, which we see as a direct attack on democratic values.

In closing, we are urging the Council to uphold our legal rights to protest peacefully and to ensure that freedom of expression is protected from undue interference or suppression. We seek their commitment to safeguarding these rights for all citizens.

Just how corrupted is the UK’s judicial system? Look no further than today’s news that a young woman filming the UK riots in August has received a custodial sentence, whilst yet another paedophile walks free. 

Care worker Cameron Bell, aged 23, has been jailed for 9 months after she livestreamed a group of masked and hooded men making racist comments on TikTok after a riot in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

The judge in her case accused her of being “involved in violent disorder” and said her action demanded immediate custody to act as a deterrent to others. However Ms Bell committed no actual violence herself.

Whilst we do not condone Ms Bell’s actions, it is unbelievable that such a strict sentence (as opposed to a suspended sentence or community service) has been delivered to a 23 year old woman for her language and being a bystander. It is unbelievable considering that Huw Edwards received a suspended sentence for possessing the worst category of child sex abuse images in September this year. Or considering that Jacob Chouffot, 26, a trainee teacher who was distributing over 1,000 child sex abuse images and videos, featuring a 6-month-old baby, only received community service and rehabilitation sessions. Or when considering 7 men involved in “disgraceful, appalling and mob violence” in 2017, Wajad Ayub, Akeel Haider, Ajam Khan, Aqib Khurshid, Umar Nawaz, Asir Nazar and Frassat Sarwar were all spared prison due to “overcrowding”. This is in spite of the fact that people involved in the incident were stabbed and one person sustained “life-changing injuries”.

How long will any of us be allowed to call out corruption in this country before the deep state establishment throws us all in jail also? What are your thoughts on the way the government is handling these situations?

Once again, the BBC finds it so easy to play ‘spot the fault’ in other institutions and organisations in order to parade itself as an angel of light. Why is the BBC incapable of reporting a problem in its appropriate context, without sensationalising and failing to offer any solutions?

A recent BBC article about prison warden corruption and individual cases of sexual harassment interviewed various individuals on their opinion about whether there was corruption amongst prison staff. The article tries to highlight an area of concern but beyond listing some opinions and a few statistics, there is little more substance they have to offer. 

The article focuses on statistics such as 165 prison officers have been sacked for misconduct in the year up to June 2024. This includes a number of offences including smuggling contraband and drugs and harassment. However, out of 23,613 this is only 0.7% of its workforce and includes only one case that ended in conviction.

Yet the very headline of the article; that prison wardens ask inmates for sex, is inflating and sensationalising the problem out of proportion and out of context of the FAR greater problems in the prison service. This is certainly A problem but proportionately nowhere near as big a problem as the overcrowding of prisons which requires there to be as many wardens as there are in the first place. The truth is clearly not sensational enough for them, so they have to inflate and conflate reality to try and sensationalise the truth into something it’s not. If they are doing this here, they are doing this everywhere and what makes us think they won’t do it when the truth REALLY doesn’t suit their agenda?

The article has the following quote: “On one hand you have a prison service that’s meant to be rule-abiding and strict and uphold British values, and in reality you have corrupt officers”. The same logic, if applied to the BBC would be something akin to, “on the one hand you have a national broadcaster that’s meant to be providing information and news without bias, favour or partiality and in reality you have liars , deceivers and sensationalised propagandists”.

Following the resignation of the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby in the wake of a report exposing the Church of England’s poor handling of child sex abuse cases, the BBC has had the audacity to publish an article asking “What Next?”. Well, if the Church of England is anything like the BBC, will it not just distance itself from Mr Welby and carry on like nothing has happened?

The BBC has seen over 30 former members of staff (at least) be convicted for child sex abuse and sexual abuse since the 1970s (which is mind-bending when you consider that, any other publicly funded organisation or company with that many convictions against its staff, would be reputationally decimated and yet the BBC saunters on)! 

The Dame Janet Smith Review investigating Stuart Hall and Jimmy Savile’s abuses found that there were executives and senior members of staff who knew about their abuses and did nothing. The review concluded that there was a culture of fear and intimidation which stopped people from speaking out and reporting inappropriate conduct. 

Twelve years after the scandal of Jimmy Savile being one of Britain’s most prolific, predatory paedophiles, the Huw Edwards scandal broke where he was convicted for having child abuse images. Some of these were the worst category of abuse against children as young as 7. Twelve years later, what has truly changed? 

As these Daily Updates have often highlighted, you don’t need to look very far at all to find a clear example of the BBC’s hypocrisy. This is just another example. The BBC has the audacity to ask, “What’s next for the Church of England?” without ever engaging in the self-reflection needed to recognise its own failures in protecting victims of child abuse, making it just as culpable as the Church.

Why can’t Britain have a church and a national broadcaster with true accountability, integrity, and professionalism—led by people of character who would never harm a child and who genuinely value their duty to protect this country and its children? Is that really too much to ask?

TUESDAY 12th NovemBER, 2024

Monday 11th November 2024 saw Lighthouse Global take to the streets of Walthamstow, a place according to local MP Stella Creasy Lighthouse is not welcome. The results, however, say otherwise as there were a good number of interactions had with the local residents who shared their thoughts on the media and how it manipulates people into believing their woke agenda. One resident stated they, “work for the BBC” and are “sick of the woke agenda being pushed” on them, the staff and public.

Many parents we spoke with on the day were deeply concerned about the influence that the media has on their children, specifically the demonic sexualisation and propaganda being enforced on them. They know that morals and ethics have been sacrificed in order to sexualise children, all in the name of progress.

The BBC’s fabricated hit-piece and docu-soap -opera against Lighthouse provably protects child abusers, including the family of ‘Erin’ who continues to be used as a BBC source despite us needing to present our evidence of abuse publicly.

As Christians, we cannot and will not stand by and allow ourselves and others to be slandered and defamed in heinously deceitful attacks, including those on our faith, while our attackers support and allow children to be sexually abused, as the BBC has for decades. Since 2013, following the death of Jimmy Savile, there have been over 145+ allegations of child sexual abuses within the BBC, of which there have been over 80 counts of successful criminal convictions, the latest being that of BBC News presenter, Huw Edwards. Some of those convicted were highlighted within a recently open letter that was sent to Tim Davey (Director General at the BBC).

A notice for Walthamstow Lighthouse Media was dropped to hundreds of local Walthamstow residents today, informing them of the upcoming Walthamstow Lighthouse Media Newsletter. The notice included why Lighthouse Media aims to amplify voices of the local people to raise concerns that are pressing on the community with conscientious individuals.

As Christians at Lighthouse who have been demonstrating and speaking up to the locals for some time, there appears to be a fracture between the locals of Walthamstow and the “elites” who live in the more prosperous parts. When those rifts occur, what can increasingly be noticed is a divide between local people needing advocacy and the ideological and political agendas of those who are supposed to represent them. The gap between David and Goliath just gets bigger and bigger.
This newsletter will encourage those who want to stand for truth in their community to speak out and have their voices heard.

BBC Science Focus published an article on “How To Spot A Personality Cult“, only available on Apple News, full of intellectually dishonest remarks about cults and showing that the BBC is woefully incapable of retaining intellectual integrity when it comes to its publications. 

The article includes examples of several cults, including Charles Manson’s cult, The Manson Family, which was responsible for a string of 9 murders in 1969. Also the NXIVM cult, which sexually abused and branded its victims. It’s final example however is their repeated egregious claim against Lighthouse, falsely smearing us with the moniker of “cult” and equating us with the prior examples. The article quotes a false allegation (by ‘Erin’ from the BBC’s docu-myth “A Very British Cult”) that Lighthouse had tried to make her take her parents to court “to make them pay for not taking better care of her”. This is patently and provably false, as detailed in a video addressing the malicious myth. 

The truth is that ‘Erin’ herself was extremely eager to confront her parents for the sexual abuse she suffered as a child, under their watch. Indeed the reality is at such variance to the BBC’s claims that it was Paul Waugh and others at Lighthouse who advised her that this was very a serious situation and she was likely not ready to confront her parents yet, but she should seek external specialised help and support first. However, a year after leaving Lighthouse ‘Erin’ changed her story, we suspect due to pressure from her parents and turned to defame Lighthouse instead. Notably, ‘Erin’ has never taken any court action against Lighthouse in light of her claims and there has never been any police investigation or charges brought against us. This is because she knows her claims are false! But the BBC have repeated the slur of “cult”, presenting Erin’s lies as facts and falsifying the context, in an attempt to give their fabricated hit-piece against Lighthouse credibility.

The article also includes remarks that Taylor Swift’s following is not cult-like because she doesn’t make people leave their families and the Catholic Church is not a cult because they don’t force anyone off of birth control. The BBC says this while ignoring the fact Miss Swift has called herself a “witch” and where some of her fans have reported strange “post-concert amnesia” after her concerts. Her latest album even contains themes of suicide and murder. Neither is there mention of the fact the Catholic Church is responsible for arguably the most prolific institutionalised child abuse on earth. However, these facts don’t suit the BBC’s Satanic woke agenda, so they feel free to omit them whilst liberally spouting falsehoods about those who oppose wokeism, like Lighthouse. 

The BBC cannot help but be intellectually and morally dishonest. We are writing to BBC Science Focus with this information to issue an immediate correction of this claim. For so-called professional journalists, the BBC repeatedly find themselves publishing false and unverified information because it suits their agenda.

Saturday 9th NovemBER, 2024

The BBC’s recent Panorama documentary on the shooting of Chris Kaba portrayed him as a George Floyd-esque victim, but it was later revealed that, not only was he a core member of one of London’s most dangerous gangs, but had he not been shot, Kaba was going to be facing trial for shooting a man in a nightclub just weeks before. 

A report by Emergency Services News on X about the Panorama documentary claimed that “This robust criticism highlights how Panorama’s narrative ignored vital details. While officers did not know Kaba was behind the wheel, they did know that the vehicle was linked to a recent shooting. Uncertain whether the shooter or firearms used in that incident were in the car, officers could see that Kaba was using the vehicle itself as a weapon, repeatedly ramming police cars and attempting to escape.”

Why would the BBC put out a documentary without fully investigating whether they had all the facts surrounding such a sensationalised story? Because yet again, the BBC wants to portray itself as on the cutting edge of the latest woke agenda story. Have the BBC issued a correction or an addition to this programme? Of course not.

It would not be the first time that the BBC has painted someone as a victim who in fact isn’t a victim at all. For instance, in ‘A Very British Cult’, individuals who were behind a vicious online smear campaign, which pledged to destroy Lighthouse and ‘number our days’, were portrayed as helpless victims who had been taken advantage of. Meanwhile, all the supposed evidence for these claims was heavily edited and manipulated with many changes of context and crucial omissions. The BBC did not investigate both sides of the claims or take our offer to receive evidence to counter the claims against us because, like with Chris Kaba, the reality simply didn’t suit their agenda. 

Friday 8th NovemBER, 2024

At Lighthouse Global, we are speaking out against the egregious and relentless campaign to tarnish our reputation, a campaign that seeks nothing less than our destruction. Unfortunately, recent harrassment from MP Stella Creasy has shown us just how far those in power are willing to go to silence voices that challenge them. We have turned to every possible avenue—appealing to governmental institutions and now even our elected Members of Parliament—hoping for justice, fairness, and respect.

We were appalled to discover that MP Stella Creasy, who should be a defender of her constituents, chased down and harassed our associate, Tom Hasker, in the streets during our peaceful protest. This is not only unprofessional but tyrannical. We have reported her actions to the police and shared our outrage with her parliamentary colleagues, demanding they hold her accountable. Democracy should never be used as a shield for those who seek to crush freedom of expression, yet Ms Creasy’s behavior represents exactly that abuse of power.

As Christians, we believe in forgiveness and so pray for Ms Creasy and her family. But make no mistake: our faith also calls us to stand against injustice and to demand integrity from those entrusted with public power. We cannot accept a government where elected officials operate with impunity, claiming to serve the people while using their positions to bully and suppress free speech.

We are calling on everyone to join us in resisting these abuses. Let us unite in prayer and action to restore the integrity of our democratic institutions. Register with us and help hold our government and media accountable to the standards of truth, justice, and genuine public service.

From liberal women screaming on TikTok to others shaving their heads in protest of the patriarchy, to cutting off family members who voted for Trump, or telling women to divorce their husbands if they voted for Trump, social media has been ablaze with unbelievable  tantrums since the election. These displays of immature and emotionally charged rants reveal a strong, cult-like influence of the left-liberal agenda.

Where are the “cult experts” studying this phenomenon? Why aren’t they investigating accusations that the BBC operates with a cult-like mentality? Or are these so-called experts only interested in branding Christians or Donald Trump supporters as cult members, simply because it suits their idealogical and political leanings?

In September, Sir Trevor Phillips pointed out that the BBC’s indoctrination culture is indeed cult-like and partly to blame for its summer of scandals—including the conviction of Huw Edwards for possessing abusive images and reports of bullying and abuse on Strictly Come Dancing, which echo the organization’s horrendous history with paedophiles like Rolf Harris, Jimmy Savile, Stuart Hall, and others.

How responsible is legacy media for the lack of balance in how many adults react to an election result? Do they take any accountability? This “woke mind virus” has indoctrinated and harmed far more people than the groups they brand as cults, rightly or wrongly, factually or falsely. Where are the “cult experts” studying the woke movement or the BBC’s woke culture, which has perpetuated abuses over decades? These experts are conspicuously silent because their so-called expertise is grounded not in truth, but in ideology and propaganda.

Wednesday 6th NovemBER, 2024

President Donald Trump has won the US election in a landslide victory, in spite of the legacy media trying to smear him as a felon, a Hitler lover and a threat to democracy. Due to long form interviews like his appearance on Joe Rogan and the voices of those fighting for free speech in America, President Trump was able to excel as a candidate who is imperfect but trustworthy for the job.

In the aftermath, news anchors on legacy media channels around the world have been dumbfounded that their smear tactics haven’t worked and that despite all their attempts at character assassination, the public turned out in their millions to support the former president’s non-consecutive re-election. Why did the public turn out like this? Because the legacy media’s modus operandi is not to report the truth and facts but to report their own narrative and agendas, and the public saw right through it!

We at Lighthouse have been sounding the alarm on the media’s lies and corruption for the last 2 years, following their collusion with a malicious hate and smear campaign against us. We have also called out their woke agenda and attempts to establish a false narrative, whilst they (most notably the BBC) present themselves as paragons of virtue and arbiters of truth. But, as millions are waking up to see, the legacy media is anything but, and is rapidly losing it’s credibility because of these dark truth tactics. And that is what this election has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt.

We pray for the future of America with this historic election and pray for the future of the Western world, as we await the inevitable return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

tuesday 5th NovemBER, 2024

Dr Paul Morrison, 72, was sacked from the RSPB “over a string of unfounded allegations”, which resulted in a mass exodus of employees and volunteers. We feel deeply for Dr Morrison and how he was treated and thank God that he has been able to win what was a “lengthy legal battle” and receive compensation through  what was apparently a ‘substantial’ financial settlement. 

Dr Morrison had worked on Coquet Island for 38 years before recently having allegations made against him that he was “controlling, coercive and manipulative” and said he treated his job like a hobby, “making those around him do a lot of the heavy lifting”. In reality it seems, according to one third party volunteer, this was part of a woke agenda at the RSPB to replace an older ‘white man’ with (to them) a more suitably “diverse” option in his younger colleague, a Syrian refugee, Dr Ibrahim Alfarwi.

One of the false accusations made against Dr Morrison was that he had kept Dr Alfarwi trapped on the island without a day off in two months! However, the truth and reality is that the island was actually battling an outbreak of avian flu at that point, which substantially increased workloads for all volunteers, as well as there being challenging weather conditions at the time, which made routine journeys to the mainland “difficult”.

Of course we at Lighthouse strongly relate to Dr Morrison’s case, after the BBC (also acting on a woke agenda) published and gave a platform to malicious false accusers who had been trying, for years, to falsely destroy Lighthouse and the character of CEO Paul Waugh. The reality is that Paul has helped countless people over the years in Lighthouse and beyond, including the very people who made the fabricated allegations against him! Yet the BBC’s “A Very British Cult” ignored the truth in order to deliberately make Paul out to be a “controlling, coercive and manipulative” person too, just as Dr Morrison was accused of being.

Imagine if the BBC made a documentary about Dr Morrison in the same way and snubbed all evidence and counter testimonies supporting Dr Morrison in order to prevent him from presenting the truth (as they did with Lighthouse)! Imagine if the court also prevented Dr Morrison’s evidence from being properly investigated (as was the case with Lighthouse), how would the public view Dr Morrison then? Thankfully, Dr. Morrison didn’t have to endure such a scenario, but that does not mean it couldn’t happen, especially if it was in the BBC’s interests and agenda to do so, as it was for them in Lighthouse’s case.

This is why Lighthouse launched David Vs Goliath, to hold false accusers accountable in the court of public opinion and provide the research, support and platform necessary to publish the truth. How many more people, like Dr Morrison have suffered from this kind of injustice and tyranny, as a result of tyrannical woke agendas and demonic cancel-culture, but haven’t received the justice and compensation they deserve? Through David vs Goliath we can stand together and hold those who would try and destroy us accountable for their actions. 

Monday 4th NovemBER, 2024

Instagram sensation and pet, Peanut the Squirrel, was seized by the government when 4 members of the DEC turned up at Mark Longo’s home in New York and for 4 hours ransacked his home and grilled his wife over her immigration status. At the end of this ordeal, they took Peanut and another pet, Fred the raccoon, and euthanised them. This is an atrocity because it is yet another example of government overreach and tyranny. 

However, this is just one more incident in a huge list of incidents where the government has taken the word of a member of the public, who made a complaint and instead of carrying out intensive investigations and being reasonable, have instead, taken severe and unjustifiable action.

Here in the UK, the Insolvency Service have overreached their duty and caused distress to many businesses and individuals. We shared in a previous update that Kids Company CEO, Camilla Batmanghelidjh passed away at the age of 61 due to the arduous legal battles with the Insolvency Service. Lighthouse itself has been under the same tyrannous attacks by the Insolvency Service and our CEO Paul Waugh has had to be signed off on long-term sick leave due impact of such consistent harassment and attacks.

Similarly to Peanut the squirrel, it all started with some anonymous complaints and when the government occupies itself with petty complaints against people who are just trying to run their business, rather than deal with the real problems plaguing our society, like homelessness, child sexual abuse and the crime on out streets – the government is no longer serving the people they are serving themselves and trying to play god. 

This is why we started David vs Goliath to hold the governments and the media accountable for their tyrannous acts.

A recent report by Alex Philips called, “Trouble for Being Christian”, highlights the persecution we face in our lives for silent prayers. The SNP in Scotland has now brought into power, that if you live within 200-metre safe access zones for abortion centres. So that now, if you are found to be silently praying in your own home within such a zone, you can face prosecution. It is an outrageous but clear example of how legislation is being used as an excuse to infringe on the freedom of Christians as well as a concerning move towards prosecuting for ‘thought crimes’, akin to the novel 1984 by George Orwell! 

Unfortunately, this is becoming more common as more and more Christians are being arrested for silent prayers and street preaching. This is a call to action to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to wake up and see the spiritual war that is going on and why we need to stand together and unite as the Body of Christ. 

At Lighthouse Global, we have personally witnessed persecution for years from our own families, from those who called themselves friends, people who called us brothers and sisters and from the legacy media, the BBC and Daily Mail. We have also been attacked by the Insolvency Services. To help not just our brothers and sisters, but anyone who is and has been the victim of any vicious attacks to destroy their characters or businesses, we formed David vs Goliath, where we hold these tyrannical liars and slanderers accountable. 

What will happen when they come for you? We are ALL so much more vulnerable than we think, especially alone or in small groups! David vs Goliath and the global groundswell community is a shield against hateful and corrupt attacks and a sword that can cut through lies and deceit in order to get to the whole truth.

An article in the Telegraph has observed that while the efforts of BBC Verify have been focused on tackling “disinformation”  around the world…  they have at the same time neglected to apply their resources to the £22billion hole in the UK government’s budget. Why?

The article by Isabel Oakeshott makes the pertinent observation that BBC Verify’s resources have been directed to verifying details relating to Israel and Gaza, the US election and other stories from around the world, and yet the nation’s broadcaster has been silent when it comes to verifying information that actually affects the nation.

In light os this, the question to be asked must be, who is the BBC truly serving? Because if it truly is acting in the British public’s interest, then surely Britain’s broadcaster ought to be keeping a close eye on the new UK government’s budget? Especially when making sure that the public have all the facts ought to be their first port of call. 

The BBC can’t help but prove, time and time again,  they do not genuinely serve the objective interests of the British public and therefore are not fit for purpose.
