The BBC’s biased, one-sided and 18 month-long pseudo-investigation into Lighthouse International Group (now Lighthouse Global) that resulted in the BBC3 docu-soap drama, ‘A Very British Cult’, is one of the worst examples of deliberate deceit, manipulation, lies and intentionally destructive slander ever produced by the British Broadcaster.

From start to finish, including its pre- and post production, the scale; depth, breadth and height of its lies, fabrication, sleight of hand, twisted half-truths, deliberately missing context and forced false narratives in this production are monumentally damning for the BBC and its sources, once exposed. So much so – unless there is radical and fundamental responsibility-taking and total reform – it’s unlikely the BBC will ever recover from the damage this will do to its reputation, given it has paraded itself as the bastion of impartiality and credibility in the media. Especially not on top of all the other scandals the institution has been disgraced by between 2012 (with the revelations over Jimmy Savile’s extensive sexual abuse of children) and 2024 (with the sentencing of Huw Edwards for possessing numerous images of child sexual abuse, of the worst possible level).

Announcing A Full And Extensive Point-By-Point Exposé Report On ‘A Very British Cult’

In order to reveal this to the public, Lighthouse Global has this week announced that a full and extensive exposé report of ‘A Very British Cult’ is in now in production. The report will comprehensively break down the 1 hour programme and its associated 4-hour podcast series, in a minute-by-minute, point-by-point inspection of every single aspect of their deceit; including the devious techniques and subtle ways the audience has deliberately been visually, emotionally and mentally manipulated into a false perception.

The point-by-point report will form the basis for an ongoing series of short-form documentary clips. These clips will themselves later come together to form the full length documentary by Lighthouse Global Media entitled, “Exposing The British Broadcasting Cult”.

Each documentary segment Lighthouse produces will provide extensive and categoric evidence to debunk the false claims and reveal the facts and the truth the BBC and its sources have lied and tried so extensively to conceal and prevent from coming to public knowledge. This includes how the BBC has consistently rejected numerous opportunities to receive and review the evidence, facts and surrounding context that will now be on full display for the court of public opinion.

The BBC Has Constantly Fled From Accountability

Since the BBC’s broadcast in 2023 and throughout 2024, Lighthouse Global have challenged and invited the BBC and its sources to come and defend the false claims, accusations and assertions made in A Very British Cult, by backing them up in an open and public debate. But the BBC have constantly ignored this, so Lighthouse set the date for a David vs Goliath showdown on 23rd April 2024 where every single person known to have been involved in the BBC’s programme was invited. This was a challenge for the BBC to prove their case under direct scrutiny and challenge (something they have never before faced), however, that is not something they can afford to agree to when their programme has been based on so much vindictively fabricated hearsay and zero robust evidence, which the BBC is well aware of.

So it was no surprise that despite over 50 personal invitations being sent, there were no takers to the David Vs Goliath showdown challenge, just a very revealing and damning silence from all involved, which included the writers Catrin Nye and Jamie Bartlett and BBC production team of Ravin Sampat and Natalie Truswell. The BBC are not used to such consistent and unwavering challenge as they do not expect to be held so intensely and creatively accountable, especially by everyday people with very limited resources. The BBC expect to be able to take sides and play the role of judge, jury and executioner without reproach, as they did with Lighthouse, because they believe they are generally untouchable and above the rest of us. Through their experiences with Lighthouse however, they are learning they aren’t going to be allowed to get away with what they have done.

What ‘A Very British Cult’ Was Actually Based On

The programme and podcast series for ‘A Very British Cult’ was based purely on the malicious hearsay and dressed up fabricated claims of a mix of vindictive ex-Lighthouse clients and bitter family members who, from 2021 – 2023, were waging an intensive anti-Lighthouse hate and smear campaign on Reddit forums. The same individuals and false claims from this Reddit forum formed the basis for several Daily Mail articles and a weaponised Secretary of State Department case being falsely levied against Lighthouse by the UK Insolvency Service.

These connected parties and their part in supporting the hate and smear campaign will be totally debunked through this report. However, Lighthouse will also be producing exposé reports on the Daily Mail, the UK Insolvency Service and the individuals from the Reddit hate and smear campaign in due course. This is to ensure that not one lie or false accusation goes unaddressed by the facts, truth and evidence and so that none who have sought to build their own reputations and careers, at the expense of innocent people and their families at Lighthouse, escapes full accountability.

The now ‘woke’ BBC has a history of listening and giving air to people who claim to be victims in order to capitalise on sensationalising their stories. We have seen this in the case of the alcoholic beverage company Brewdog and more recently the online banking company, revolut. They are trying to portray themselves as protectors of the public when in fact they are anything but.

The Value and Purpose Of Lighthouse’s Exposé Reports

Lighthouse is creating these Exposé Reports in order to educate and inform the public and to help open their eyes as to how vulnerable everyday people and small groups and businesses are, especially if they are Christian, to predatory trolls, cancel-culture and the demonic abuse of power and influence by increasingly corrupt, depraved and tyrannical institutions like the BBC and even elements of the national government. It is our duty as Christians whose faith, integrity and reputation has been so falsely and malevolently besmirched, to inform every member of the public of these truths while holding every false accuser and instance of institutional evil publicly accountable.

Lighthouse’s aim through this report is to help achieve justice, compensation and reform for all those whose reputations, wellbeing and livelihoods have been so wrongly and maliciously attacked, harmed and even destroyed by those who believe they can get away with lying and manipulating false attacks in order to benefit themselves, their careers and their own reputations. It is through our reports that we will also also expose the blatant bias and corruption of these sham regulatory authorities that exist as nothing more than toothless front organisations protecting the interests of the mainstream corporate media.
