Lighthouse Weekly Update – 12th September 2026…
Good day, fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,
David did not defeat Goliath by pretending the giant was harmless. He saw the scale of the threat, refused the fear governing everyone around him and stood in faith beneath God’s authority.
That ancient confrontation speaks directly to the choice before Lighthouse Global today.
What do you do when powerful institutions conspire together and do everything in their power to destroy your life? What do you do when their reach carries a false identity into your family, church, work, relationships and future—and when every lawful effort to correct it is reinterpreted as further evidence against you?
The apparent wisdom of the world says: accept the giant’s verdict. Disappear. Change your name. Abandon the work. Live as though the accusation settled the truth.
But authority is not proof, size is not righteousness and repetition cannot transform a falsehood into truth.
The Giant Is Not the Final Judge
This week, the series Lighthouse Global: In the Public Interest? began by examining the power hidden inside a respectable phrase.
“Public interest” can justify investigation, exposure and intervention where serious wrongdoing must be confronted. But when the institution invoking it controls the sources, evidence, framing, publication, complaint and effective reach of any correction, public interest can become a permission structure for institutional self-protection and human destruction.
A broadcaster may reach millions in an hour. The person it targets may spend years trying to reach a fraction of the same audience with the evidence that was omitted. The institution moves on to its next production. The person continues living inside the identity it created.
David vs Goliath is not simply a story about the small confronting the large. It is the recurring human struggle between evidence and prestige, conscience and conformity, truthful courage and fear-driven surrender.
Trust Must Be Earned
Part One of the new series asked: Who do you trust, and why?
Most of us inherit trust before we learn to examine it. Familiar voices, polished productions, official titles and institutional reputation can feel like evidence even when they are not. Once a trusted institution labels someone dangerous, fraudulent or abusive, the public may punish first and ask questions later.
The answer is not to reverse blind trust and tell readers to believe Lighthouse instead of the BBC. Every claim must be tested. Trust should be proportionate to demonstrated character, competence, evidence, transparency, treatment of contrary material and willingness to correct serious error.
The decisive question is what happens when truth threatens status, income, reputation or institutional survival.
A relationship with truth is revealed by what we are willing to question, lose, correct and change.
That standard governs Lighthouse Global too. We are fallible. We must examine our conduct before God, repent where we are wrong and correct any genuine error. But Christian humility does not require us to submit to a manufactured public identity or abandon truth because the institution resisting it is powerful.
The Human Cost of Institutional Power
Part Two followed trust into power by asking: Who decides if destroying your life is in the public interest?
Rarely does one person make the whole decision. A source supplies an allegation. Journalists choose whom to believe. Producers shape the emotional story. Editors and lawyers approve it. Executives confer authority. Regulators, officials and courts may later act upon fragments of the resulting record. Thousands of ordinary people repeat the conclusion because they assume somebody else verified it.
Each participant performs a limited act. The targeted human being carries the combined consequence.
One allegation can reach an employer, clients, friends, relatives, a church and future relationships. A person may be cleared later, or may hold decisive contrary evidence from the beginning, but who restores the years, health, opportunity and trust already taken?
A genuine public-interest process must therefore be truthful, necessary, proportionate, answerable and meaningfully correctable. It must distinguish allegation from established fact, give the accused a real opportunity to answer and account for the life-altering consequences of error.
The target is also a member of the public. So are their children, family, colleagues and community.
The Two Choices
The BBC created a materially false public record about Lighthouse Global and has refused to provide a meaningful route for examining and correcting it. This leaves us with two stark choices.
- Accept Goliath’s imposed identity. Give up on our names, work, relationships and future. Withdraw from public life and behave as though institutional power settled the truth.
- Stand in Christ and campaign lawfully and peacefully. Preserve the evidence. Test every claim. Publish what the public was denied. Continue seeking meaningful engagement and correction until the problem is solved.
“We can either roll over and die under a pile of falsehoods and life destruction, or we can campaign for the truth and we can campaign for what is right.” — Paul S. Waugh, 12 September 2026
We have chosen the second path.
Not because we wanted campaigning to consume our lives, and not because every choice we have made has been perfect. We stand because surrender would allow destructive power to become the final authority over reality.
The Anti-Life-Destruction Campaign
The Lighthouse Anti-Life-Destruction Campaign will expose, oppose and seek to stop the process through which falsehoods, exclusions and accumulated institutional power destroy names, livelihoods, relationships, families, freedom, opportunity and future possibility.
The BBC’s campaign against Lighthouse Global is the immediate and principal case because we know it intimately and hold extensive evidence concerning it. We will examine what was alleged, what was known, what was omitted, who was permitted to speak, what meaningful answers were excluded, what happened after notice and who carried the human cost.
This is not a campaign of vengeance. David must not become Goliath. Truth must break down falsehood and protect life, but it must not be used merely to humiliate or destroy those responsible. Its end must remain responsibility, correction, justice, repentance, restitution and the possibility of a truthful new start.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” — John 10:10 (NIV)
Why This Battle Concerns You
If a powerful institution can impose a destructive public identity upon Lighthouse Global, deny effective correction and then portray our attempt to answer as the true threat, the same machinery can be directed against another citizen, family, church, organisation or community.
The specific accusation may differ. The mechanism remains recognisable: activate fear, borrow institutional trust, withhold decisive context, distribute the judgement widely and make correction slower, weaker and less visible than the original attack.
That is why this cannot remain only Lighthouse Global’s fight. Every citizen has an interest in preventing any institution from becoming the accuser, narrator, judge and guardian of its own correctness.
David’s responsibility is not to imitate the giant’s weapons. It is to stand beneath God, reject fear and bring the truth into the light.
We have chosen to stand.

Another big week – how much is the world working against the common man. My work with what you’re covering it’s coming clear the forces influencing our lives aren’t fully on our side. Thank you for your hard work.
A very powerful week punctuated by an even more powerful question. The reality of this experience is that those questions are not just a moral framework but it has been at the centre of everything we have experienced here. I have been forced to ask myself, do I roll over and die, disappear into obscurity to protect myself or because I can’t take this public scrutiny anymore, or do I stand for what I know to be true and backed up by evidence? It has not been straight forward and even very painful but nonetheless it has been a very real dilemma
This has been a significant week. In particular the point made about the two choices is one that clearly communicates the position we’ve been moved into through the BBC’s actions. They chose to listen to fake whistleblowers, they decided to ignore/refuse the evidence we offered to them… and now somehow they’re playing victim?!? They do this whilst deciding that destroying citizens’ lives is somehow in the public interest! So I appreciate these issues being hit head on.
The other thing is the register for those at the BBC who’ve been involved with child sexual abuse. I appreciate how it’s discerning the difference between accusations and convictions as well as the level of association with the BBC.
The BBC Savile Syndrome is not just about Jimmy Savile, it is about the institutional evil that runs throughout the entire organisations and manifests in various different ways.
The truth needs no defence in and of itself, but it needs to be broadcast to the same extent and to be shown for all to see. Goliath, doesn’t want the truth to be known because that goes against his wishes. All David needs to do is stand for the truth and keep point and directing people to it.
That is how and why David always wins.
Thank you for making the choice before us so clear. We all have a decision to make: whether we allow ourselves to be disempowered or whether we stand up for Truth, freedom and what is right. As Christians, we have a responsibility to follow Christ, speak the truth and peacefully campaign for positive change.
The Lighthouse anti life destruction campaign is an important call to recognise evil, defend human dignity and stand firmly for what is right. We cannot simply surrender our responsibility to others.
As Ephesians 6:11 reminds us: “Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Thank you so much for all the updates this week. What you are and have been doing is so powerful. I say that because, through what you have been and are going through, you will help inspire others to stand up and not give in to those who have set out to destroy them.
I look forward to what you will be sharing tomorrow and the coming week. Keeping you all in my prayers…
This really captures why continuing to stand matters so much. When the alternative is surrendering our lives to falsehoods, we must keep choosing truth, life and constructive love. Fully behind this. 🙏
This week has really helped me to appreciate that I have been indoctrinated for decades into believing that the citizen, the average citizen, must willingly comply and yield when authority requires it even if they are wrong.
We have seen and experienced abuses of position in the name of public interest, and by the grace of God, we will not roll over and die, we will not stand for anyone actively and provably trying to purse the destruction of our lives. We have and are choosing life and we choose to stand for what God has commanded of us and that is: “Let those who love the Lord hate evil” – Psalm 97:10.
We will not stand by watching the Establishment continue to destroy the lives of many.
